I was a hockey player from Thunder Bay, ON who was introduced to the sport of cycling by my high school football coach, who also happened to be my shop teacher. He saw that hockey was my sport priority and felt that cycling would be the perfect way for me to stay in shape for my hockey during the summer months. I took him up on that offer. And the rest, as the saying goes, is history.
Probably best known as 'that shampoo guy that went to the Olympics', I was just a guy from Thunder Bay who pushed his limits each & every day, doing what I loved while wearing the flag of the country I adored. 4 Olympics, 2 PanAms, 2 Commonwealth Games, many World Championships, a WR, and yes, a shampoo commercial later, you get the guy you see today. Every once in awhile, I get a haircut.
