CURT HARNETT C.M., OLY

I started out as a hockey player from Thunder Bay, ON, where I was introduced to the sport of cycling by my high school football coach, Harry Curtis. Harry recognized that hockey was my priority and felt that cycling would be the perfect way for me to stay in shape for hockey during the summer months. I took him up on that offer. And the rest, as they say, is history. 

I'm probably best known as 'that shampoo guy that went to the Olympics'. I really was just a guy from Northwestern Ontario who found a way to push his limits each & every day, full of heart, grit and determination, with the honour of wearing the maple leaf on my back (and chest). 

4 Olympics (3 Olympic Medals), 2 PanAm Games, 2 Commonwealth Games, 10 World Championships, many World Cups, a WR, 3 Hall of Fame Inductions, the Order of Canada, and yes, a shampoo commercial later, WYSIWYG.
