World Bicycle Relief

Over one billion people in the world suffer from "mobility poverty", where distance is a barrier to their access to opportunity. World Bicycle Relief see the bicycle as a simple solution to this very complex problem. 

World Bicycle Relief (WBR) is a global nonprofit that empowers people through bicycles, improving access to education, healthcare, and economic opportunities in rural communities. 

Since 2005, WBR has distributed 885,000+ durable Buffalo Bicycles, helping students stay in school, healthcare workers reach more patients, and entrepreneurs grow their businesses. The organization also trains local mechanics to ensure sustainability.

As the Managing Director of World Bicycle Relief Canada, I lead efforts to raise funds, build partnerships, and expand WBR’s impact, mobilizing people through The Power of Bicycles.
